Netflix has officially announced when the anime Edgerunners Cyberpunk will be released.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners is an anime series that is directly adapted from the game, Cyberunk 2077 by Netflix.
In collaboration with Trigger as a studio who has developed Kill La Kill, Cyberpunk Edgerunners is exclusively present only on Netflix after the CD Projekt Red asks them to work together.
Despite having a different story from Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk Edgerunners has the same settings and content as the game created by the CD Projekt Red. This also means that anime is also not made for children and can only be monitored by those who are quite old.
Netflix promised that the anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners will be released in September 2022, but they are still closed when this series will be released. At least not to this day.
In the latest trailer (of course not to watch children), Netflix officially announced that their new anime, Cyberpunk Edgerunners will be released on September 13, 2022.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners tells the story of several main anime characters such as David, Maine, Dorio, Kiwi, Pillars, Rebecca, and Lucy who lived a cruel life in Night City which became the stage for Cyberpunk Edgerunners.
Edgerunners is known as Cyberpunk in the anime, they will do dirty tasks to survive in Night City.
David, who is often in the spotlight in his anime, is told as a street kid in his anime. Starting a career as Edgerunners is not easy at all.
The 10-episode Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime series has been developing since 2018 by a trigger with several famous names behind its development.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners was directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill La Kill, Promare) and directed by Silent Hill Akira Yamaoka composer. The anime series is scheduled to be released September 13, 2022 then on Netflix.
